Well done to Billy for his wonderful WOW work. Billy worked incredibly hard on his persuasive speech to encourage men to join the army. In English this week, everyone has produced some excellent work on persuasive sentences that links into our History topic on the First World War. So well done everyone – you have all excelled! In History we also looked at the futility of the Battle of the Somme and all the children produced fact files, highlighting some of the poignant information about this disastrous battle. In maths we looked at place value and rounding decimals to three decimals points. Our children are really enjoying their teaching afternoons with our specialised teachers and music this week was great fun, when the children got to use an array of instruments and produced some brilliant sounds!
